Knott's Berry Farm sits about 6 miles northwest of Anaheim and draws over 4 million visitors annually as one of California's most established theme parks. Ghost Town, the Boardwalk, and Fiesta Village cover more than 160 acres, with thrill rides including GhostRider — one of the tallest wooden roller coasters in the western U.S. — and HangTime. The park's major demand spikes come during Knott's Scary Farm (September–November), which runs Thursday–Sunday nights with separate ticketing from general admission and routinely sells out weeks in advance.
Beach Boulevard from the 91 interchange south becomes a slow crawl on Scary Farm nights, and the main parking lot off Beach Boulevard requires pre-purchased passes during the event. A minibus or charter bus rental drops your group at the main Beach Boulevard entrance and eliminates the parking hunt entirely.
